I began my career developing English language programs for immigrants and refugees rebuilding their lives in Alberta. When I moved into private career colleges, I recognized many of the same learners: people seeking practical training, new careers, or a pathway back to professions they had practised elsewhere.

That connection shaped my approach to curriculum and institutional development. As learning moved from classrooms into hybrid and online settings, I expanded my work to include digital instruction, competency-based assessment, licensing, and quality assurance. Throughout, my focus has been on making programs both accessible to learners and credible to employers and regulators.

Today, through MMV Educational Consulting, I help colleges and workforce training organizations respond to what is changing—and prepare for what comes next. That includes thoughtful use of AI and learning technology while maintaining strong educational standards and meaningful learner outcomes.
